ANNUAL DAY
The Annual day brings a beautiful climax to the various enriching events held throughout the year. It is a ceremony to celebrate the culmination of a learning session. To promote child’s and parent’s inner talents in terms of Dance, Stage acts and to celebrate the bond of Parents and School, we organize these events. This has become an integral part of a Merry Babes School’s calendar, much awaited by parents. We celebrate our annual Day at KIIT auditorium in every year.
SPORTS DAY
Children’s involvement in sports develops their diverse lifelong skills in the physical (a positive attitude toward healthy lifestyle), cognitive, emotional and social domains. The kids participate in a wide range of sports events, and learn valuable lessons in sportsmanship.
CHRISTMAS CARNIVAL
We aim to offer the perfect mix of joy, knowledge and learning for all our young learners. Merry Babes Carnival is an amazing combination of laughter, colour, friendship, learning and happiness. Through several entertaining activities we make it a memorable occasion for both our children and their parents, while also offering something new and encouraging along the way! Our carnival features some of the most engaging, delightful and entertaining activities.
COLOURS DAY
Color affects the mood in adults and more so in children. Color psychology and its impact on a child’s learning abilities and behavior is a much researched subject. At Merry Babes, we celebrate different colour day like, Green day, Yellow day, Orange day, Red Day, Blue day etc. Student coming to school on related colour dress and objects. Teacher do so many activities with children with that concept of colour.
FIELD STUDY
Field trips are not only lots of fun but they can also be very valuable learning experiences for young children. They can help build background knowledge and vocabulary that are important for success in school and life. We make our field trip to various places like Nadankanan, Science Park, Regional museum of natural History, Budha park, Sanchistupa-Dhauli etc.
Children’s visits are planned time to time to give them an exposure to their social and physical surroundings. They even go on excursions to get educational and learning values
INDEPENDENCE DAY/REUBLIC DAY
The little patriots of school took a great pride in celebrating the independence day with special guests- their mother. They expressed their gratitude to their motherland and mother, for giving them their existence and nurturing them with love and care. Their song and dance programme added patriotic forever to the celebrations.
DUSSHERA CELEBRATION
Dussehera was celebrated with gaiety and grandeur by our students. A vivid description of ‘Ram Katha’ and goddess Druga was given to the children through a live puppet show. It was very captivating and enjoyed immensely by them.
CELEBRATING FESTIVALS
Every month, one or the other Festival has been celebrated. Lohri, Holi, Rakhi, Janamashtmi, Gurupurab, Dussehra and Diwali, Christmas all festivals has been celebrated with great vigor and enthusiasm. Children come dressed up and the importnace of every festivity has been shared with them.
